We chose General Painting to paint the exterior of our house because it offered a relatively lower price among the three quotes we received and also because they made it clear that they won't leave the job before it's done. All payment is due after completion. The paint job started around the date promised and took about three weeks to complete due to rainy/freezing days. The crew did a great job. They were all very honest, hardworking people. The project manager, his name is Junior, was on the job the entire time and was very thorough and easy to work with. Overall, we are very happy with the experience and how the house looks after the paint. Highly recommend and will consider hiring again when we need to paint the interior of the house in the future. ~ Xiaowen J

General painting turned our boring brown lakehouse into a beauty on the water with the gorgeous sherwin Williams colors we chose in vinyl safe paint. I cannot express in words how meticulous every detail was and if we weren’t satisfied, they fixed it. A little hard to communicate with the painters themselves (spoke portugese) and they weren’t as careful around my fragile plants as I had hoped. I'm hoping those plants come back next year. But if you’re even thinking about painting your vinyl siding, call no one else! The price was better than the other 3 I called & Reneto explained their process in detail & even gave us his opinion when we didn’t know which color to use on certain parts of the house. They also finished before our deadline. Do yourself a favor & call them first! ~ Samm W

We had been searching for painters for a long time. No one seemed like the right fit. My Mother had suggested the company she had used to do their house, decks and exterior of house. We emailed them and got a quick response and set up a walkthrough. None the less not only did General Painting fix out very damaged walls and ceilings in 4 rooms, but they did such an amazing job our walls look brand new and seamless. The next day they started painting. I am blown away by their professionalism and attention to detail. Our walls look incredible. I almost dont think want to hang anything on them. The painters are very respectful and sweet. They are also very efficient. I am thrilled with their work. I will forever trust our home to General Painting. Wonderful people, spectacular job. Renato and crew are a pleasure to work with from quotation to final Inspection. They repaired extensive wood rot, covered thousands of rusted nail heads, and painted our house. The prep work as promised was thorough and we appreciated the attention to details with our paint job. They started as promised, showed up every day on time and stayed busy all day (10+ hrs). THE BEST from start to finish. I called Renato (the owner of General Painting) based on google reviews I had read and he got right back to me right away and we scheduled a time the next day for him to come and give an estimate. He showed up right on time. He was courteous, thoughtful, a good listener and most of all honest. I was pleasantly surprised that he didn’t expect a down payment but would be paid in full when the job was completely finished upon our satisfied inspection. The estimate was extremely reasonable and he uses high quality paint. When Adolfo and Julio showed up to do the work they were also courteous, polite and very pleasant. They worked quietly and did a very careful job. Any questions that we had were answered and anything we wanted to add on to the job they were more than happy to do. General Painting was a great company to work with from start to finish. They are very professional, friendly and did an amazing job on the house. Before the house was really showing it’s age, peeling and looking worn down but once they got done giving her a face lift, it’s like living in a different home now. We had an excellent experience with General Painting. The quote process was easy and professional, plus what sold me was that no payment is required until the work is done to our satisfaction. Who does this?? I've actually lost money with contractors who are gone after a down payment, but I never had to worry about that here, which was pretty amazing. The actual work was done quickly and thoroughly, with checkpoints and room for questions along the way. The work was high quality and complete, I didn't have any issues at all. I'm thrilled with the work General Painting did on the exterior of my house. They even replaced some of the wood siding that had rotted away. The price compared to other quotes was amazing, and no one else could have done a better job. Their contract listed every single thing they planned to do, so there were no surprises--and they sanded, primed, and used two coats of Benjamin Moore paint, so no one cut any corners. I was very pleased with the service they provided. The crew arrived on time, explained exactly what they were going to do, were very polite and did a great job painting my home office and living/dining room. They left everything exactly as it was prior, hung back all the artwork exactly right etc. Cassandra who works in the main office is also great - excellent customer service and responsiveness. The entire team at General Painting was outstanding from start to finished. For our interior project I requested bids from 8 recommended local and nearby painters. Only 4 called back and gave us a bid. We selected General Painting because of their professionalism in their approach and bid. They were also reasonably priced (not the cheapest, but within a reasonable range). We are so happy we did. They were always there when they said they would be, they were very careful and neat, the cleanup each day and at the end of the job was excellent, the job was very well done. Everyone on the team was friendly and yet professional at the same time. At the end of the job, we did a walkthrough to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction and a couple of days later they stopped back to do a second walk through to make sure we hadn’t noticed something else and to make sure we were completely satisfied. Our house had 10+ years without maintenance. The cedar was stained, green and black in many areas. The painted trim was worn to the wood. General Painting did a wonderful job power washing it clean, then staining and painting. The photo may not do it justice but it is beautiful. They also painted inside the house and garage, they professionally repaired damage and it looks great. We chose them because you don’t pay until it’s done, and once they start the project they finish it. We had the entire outside of the house painted, and considering we replaced 0% of the wood, the job came out great. Very affordable, matched another quote, and were able to fix a few small things after the fact. Highly recommend. They also offer financing, which is hard to come by with local painters. ~ Adam P
